第七讲：副词

一．副词的概念（什么是副词）

用来修饰动词、形容词或另一个副词及全句的词。

表示行为或状态发生的时间、地点、程度或方式。

二. 副词的构成

① 一般在形容词词尾加ly。

如：beautiful-beautifully，strict-strictly

② 形容词词尾为y时，y变为i,再加ly。

如：easy-easily, happy-happily

③ 形容词词尾为le时，直接改为ly。

如：terrible-terribly

④ 以元音字母加e结尾的形容词，去e加ly。

如：true-truly

三．副词的分类

副词可以分为时间副词、地点副词、方式副词、程度副词、频度副词、原因副词等。

(1)时间副词：now, today, yesterday, tomorrow 等

(2)地点副词：here, there, far, near, up, down等

(3)方式副词：carefully, slowly, easily, fast 等

(4)频度副词：always, often, usually, sometimes等

(5)程度副词：very, much, too等

(6)疑问副词：how, when, where, why 等

四．副词比较级、最高级的构成。

① 一般情况下，单音节的词在词尾加er或est。

如：soon-sooner-soonest   fast-faster-fastest

② 单音节词的最后一个字母为e时，只加r或st。

如：late-later-latest

③ 以辅音字母加y结尾的，先变y为i，再加-er和est。

如：early-earlier-earliest

④多音节词和大部分双音节词，在原级前加more, most构成比较级和最高级。

如：quickly-more quickly-most quickly

    carefully-more carefully -most carefully

五．副词的常见句型

① as+副词原级+as 像……一样

如：She can run as fast as Tom.

He doesn’t work as carefully as Mary.

② 副词比较级+than 比……

如：He works more slowly than Mary does.

③ 副词比较级+and+副词比较级  越来越

如：He walked more and more slowly.

④ the +副词最高级+of…/in… 最……

如：Jack sang the best of all the singers.
